The Power of Silence by Robert Cardinal Sarah

This book is amazing! Everyone in the family would benefit from it. Cardinal Sarah focuses on the lack of silence in our society, church, and life. He explains the need for it and how to go about introducing silence into your daily life.

Eve in Exile by Rebekah Merkle

This is an excellent book on true femininity. It is not by a Catholic author, but is definitely worth your time. Rebekah goes through the history of Feminism and its affects on society. She does not delve too deep on the contraception aspect of the feminist movement, which would have been a bonus. I think, however, that she makes excellent points!

The Way, Furrow, and the Way by St. Josemaria Escriva

This is a book that should be in all homes! This volume contains all three of St. Josemaria’s books. It is a book that you pick up and read a little bit of. His short writings are food to help you get through your day!
